Don Aycock is a forecaster with the National Weather Service who has been stationed in Fairbanks, Alaska, for 9 years. Prior to coming to Alaska, Aycock worked for the NWS in San Juan, Puerto Rico, for 4 years, in Boston, Massachusetts, for 2 years, and in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, for 3 years. Aycock earned his B.S. in Atmospheric Science from the University of North Carolina, Asheville, in 1985, then went on to earn his M.S. in Atmospheric Science from North Carolina State University, Raleigh, in 1989.
